MF Doom

MF DOOM (born Daniel Dumile) was a British-American rapper and producer revered for his intricate wordplay, masked persona, and underground legacy. Emerging in the early '90s as Zev Love X of KMD, he reemerged as MF DOOM after personal tragedy, donning a metal mask inspired by Marvel’s Doctor Doom.

His signature style fused comic book villainy, dense rhymes, abstract humor, and dusty sample-based beats. DOOM’s classic releases include Operation: Doomsday (1999), MM..FOOD (2004), and Madvillainy (2004, with Madlib as Madvillain)—all genre-defining records in underground and alternative hip-hop.

A mysterious and prolific figure, he recorded under multiple aliases (Viktor Vaughn, King Geedorah) and collaborated with artists like Danger Mouse, Ghostface Killah, and Bishop Nehru. MF DOOM's influence spans generations of hip-hop artists, producers, and fans worldwide.
