Myron Walden (b. 1972, Miami) is an acclaimed American jazz multi-reedist—saxophonist, flutist, and bass clarinetist—and composer whose voice in modern jazz is both distinctive and deeply expressive. Self-taught initially, he later refined his craft at the LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and the Manhattan School of Music. A versatile collaborator, Walden has worked with the likes of Roy Hargrove, Brian Blade, Freddie Hubbard, Esperanza Spalding, and The New Jazz Composers Octet.
