The Sound

The Sound

The Sound is a musical/artistic memoir depicting the metamorphosis of urban life influences dissolving into rural shoreline inspirations, off of the Long Island Sound, Connecticut.

Knox Chandler’s sonic endeavours, sound ribbons, is the catalyst of this album/book. It’s a guitar (upright bass, percussion) album along with a book of paintings, photographs, sketches and written meditations, interpreting nature through technology. The blending of several mediums is his way of expressing his music as a journal. The Sound is being released on Knox’s new label Blue Elastic, which is focused on the stretching of primary sources.
