Magdalena Abrego is a New York-based guitarist, composer, and teaching artist whose work is influenced by free jazz and punk. Her textural and dynamic approach to the guitar often incorporates extended techniques and prepared guitar. She is also known for her work in the experimental rock duo Deerlady with Mali Obomsawin.
