The long-awaited vinyl debut of Numb, the sixth album from cult UK soul artist Lewis Taylor—a multi-instrumentalist and genre-blurring icon of British neo-soul. Originally self-released on his label Slow Reality, Numb arrives via Be With Records as a deluxe double LP.

Written and recorded after a 17-year hiatus, Numb is a deeply personal and emotionally complex return to Taylor’s darker, more mysterious sonic territory—described by Mojo as “Brian Wilson channels Smokey Robinson.” The album blends rich, layered arrangements with stark lyrical themes of depression, healing, and self-discovery.

Highlights include the dub-tinged "Final Hour", symphonic-soul standout "Apathy", and the haunting title track. Throughout, Taylor’s falsetto floats over a sophisticated mix of soul, psychedelic pop, and downtempo R&B.
