ECHOLOCATION by Mendoza Hoffs Revels is rocking fusion of jazz and metal, progressive but a new wave of it, experimental in it’s freshness, punk in it’s irreverence. A supergroup of composer-musicians Ava Mendoza, Devin Hoff, James Brandon Lewis, and Ches Smith brought to us by the ever discerning New York label Aum Fidelity.

This album makes a statement from an official type of position, I think guitarist Ava Mendoza is the esteemed mayor of contemporary/avant-garde/free jazz & rock. Check her bio, she’s done everything!
